Predominantly prevalent in the Tropical Islands of Bali, The Caribbean, Australia & Mauritius, Sea -Walking is now possible in the Andamans thanks to the efforts of Sea Link Adventures. A leisure Stroll on the Ocean Floor taking you up close and personal with life Down Under is what's on the cards if you do decide to sign up. Do you need to know how to Swim to give this a go ? Not at all. Is prior Training required to master breathing techniques as is the case with Scuba Diving ? Nope no Training required whatsoever.
A heavy framed glass Helmet, similar to the ones that Astronauts use, will be provided giving you a well rounded view of your surroundings. An integrated hose pumps air into this helmet providing a continuous supply of fresh air. Air pressure prevents water from getting in so during a Sea walk you run absolutely no risk of having your face being exposed to water. The Equipment is imported and is of the highest quality. Instructors are Internationally Certified and safety is paramount.
These walks take place just off the North Bay Coast, a 20 minute ferry ride from Port Blair, and lasts for a good half hour.
